# Delete Namespace

> Deletes a namespace of an index.

`DELETE https://{endpoint}/delete-namespace/{namespace}`

<Note>
  The default namespace, which is the empty string `""`, cannot be deleted.
</Note>

This endpoint doesn't require any additional data.
